Open Air Jungle Home / Ocean View/ 120 Acres Rainforest
Open air 3 Bedroom jungle home on 120 acres of primary rain forest overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with views of Mt. Chirripo and Volcano Baru. This Is the spot! Spectacular views of the Gulfe Dulce and only 20 minutes away from spectacular beaches. Most of the rooms in the home are completely free of walls, windows and doors. Imagine that? All bedrooms are screened in and have wonderful views of the forest behind the house. All bedrooms have ceiling fans, doors and comfy beds with comfy mattresses. 2 Kitchens, and 2 living rooms can accommodate any group nicely. Each room has a great view, you can even see the ocean from my Jacuzzi tub. Monkeys, Toucans, and Parrots visit daily. Sloths, eagles, owls, anteaters, Tayras and White hawks also visit from time. National Geographic calls my backyard the second most bio-diverse area The Neighborhood Well what can I say, the neighbors are mostly wild animals of all colors and types, some even come right into the house, but only the nice ones.
Located at the tip of the Osa Peninsula in Southern Costa Rica. This unique vacation home is as close to nature as you can get. Activities include, waterfall hikes, kayaking, beachcombing, tree climbing, horseback riding, and my favorite swimming with the dolphins. Located just 15 minutes North of Puerto Jimenez. The nicest beaches are only minutes away. Great Waterfall just up the river and Corcovado National Parks just 2 hours away. Closest thing to asphalt is 3 hours away, you want to get away from it----this is the spot!

Bedroom 3 - Queen, Air Conditioning All bedrooms are screened in with ceiling fans for maximum comfort. Fall asleep with the background noises of the rainforest, lots of critters stirring around, and in the morning the birds will have you up drinking coffee pronto. The Howler Monkeys and Scarlet Macaws are my personal favorite alarm clocks.

Bathroom 2 - Toilet, Tub, Ocean view 2 Full baths with tropical decor, open air concept w/ privacy. Upstairs Bath has a great indoor outdoor jet tub, Toucans and Parrots fly right by. Nice music collection too, and a view of the ocean without leaving the tub.
here120 Acres of Tropical Paradise Corcovado National Park encompasses 44,484.56 terrestrial hectares and 5,375 marine hectares and contains a variety of ecosystems including forests, beaches, coral reefs, and mangrove and freshwater swamps. Corcovado has an unusually high level of biological diversity, which provides essential habitat for a number of endemic and endangered species, and which makes Corcovado, Costa Ricas most biologically important protected lowland area, according to the Ministry of Environment . The Osa Conservation Area (ACOSA) possesses several protected areas, among these are Corcovado and Piedras Blancas National Parks, the Golfo Dulce Forest Reserve and Golfito Wildlife Refuge.
What else can I say? The Neighborhood the neighbors are mostly wild animals of all colors and types, some even come right into the house, but only the nice ones! Truly a birders paradise, 100s of species of hummingbirds, parrots, toucans, and raptors visit the property each day. Only a days drive from San Jose Costa Rica, or a 45 min flight - This property is located 20 minutes away from Puerto Jimenez in Southern Costa Rica on the Osa Peninsula. New this year High Speed Internet ! ! ! Imagine that in the jungle.
Ahhhh...The weather! Its always between 75 - 80 degrees here ! The activities are endless with World Class Sportfishing, Surfing, Sea Kayaking, Birding, Waterfall Rappelling, Tree Climbing, Horse Back Riding just minutes away. Take a boat ride on the gulf through Mangrove Estuaries, or visit a wildlife refuge center where you can interact with monkeys, birds, and other critters up close and personal. Or just hang on the beach, swim with the dolphins or take up space on one of our hammocks and let nature come to you. You will meet Walter and his wife Cecelia, they will take care of you while you are here, keeping the house clean, doing your laundry and taking you on guided hikes in the neighborhood
Golf Information: No Golf here - 10 hour drive to the nearest Hole in one! Bring your Pitching wedge and some woofle balls if you like, that will give my dog something to do. If you want golf go North!
Skiing Information: Water Skiing in The Gulf is great in the early morning - a bit choppy in the afternoon.
