Whilst the property has a rural setting between the towns of Pontivy and Mur de Bretagne in central Brittany it is only a five minute drive to Mur and 10 minutes to the bustling town of Pontivy with its medieval chateau and full range os shops and restaurants. Sty Samson is ideally located for visiting both the North and South coasts of Brittany ( an hour drive ) and an hour and a half drive from the ferry ports at Roscoff and St Malo and the airports at Dinard, Brest, Lorient and Rennes
Just 10 minutes away by car from St Samson is the Lac de Guerledan a man made inland lake with safe sandy beaches which are ideal for swimming and watersports. Canoes, pedalos and sailing boats are on hire at the Lake or try windsurfing and waterskiing.
The property itself borders the Nantes Brest canal and the River Blavet making it a popular destination for walkers, fishermen and cyclists.
